AI audit & strategic consulting

Design and manage your AI strategy. Our audit and consulting services are designed to align your technology initiatives with your business objectives, maximize your efficiency gains and identify new innovation opportunities.

Our approach

A structured diagnosis, a roadmap built together

An AI audit is a structured diagnosis of your organisation: maturity, data, processes, risks and opportunities. The goal is to know precisely where artificial intelligence will create value, and in what order to move forward.

Over four to six weeks, PrismIA combines a strategic top-down view with insights from the field (interviews with your teams) to deliver a prioritized AI roadmap that is realistic and aligned with your objectives. An approach designed for SMEs and organisations in French-speaking Switzerland, with nFADP compliance built into every recommendation.

Our AI audit and consulting services are designed to align your technology initiatives with your business objectives, maximize your efficiency gains and identify new innovation opportunities. We carry out a complete diagnosis of your processes and data, then co-construct with your teams a customized roadmap for integrating AI where it will have the greatest impact.

Audit: analyze the current state of your organisation in terms of AI and data

We establish an objective assessment of your AI maturity: skills, data, processes and tools. This diagnosis reveals your strengths and the gaps to close before any investment.

  • Assessment of technological and organizational maturity
  • Identification of in-house skills and gaps to be filled
  • Analysis of available data and its potential for use in AI
  • Analysis of existing processes to assess their potential for AI optimization
  • Detailed report with recommendations for improvement

Deliverable: a detailed report with recommendations.

AI & data strategic vision

We translate your business objectives into a clear AI trajectory for the short, medium and long term. Priorities, resources and indicators are defined to steer the approach over time.

  • Drawing up an AI roadmap for the short, medium and long term
  • Definition of priorities based on identified use cases
  • Identifying the resources and investments required
  • Setting up performance indicators to monitor the progress of your AI strategy

Deliverable: a strategic roadmap.

Feasibility study and identification of use cases

We map your processes to identify high-impact use cases, then validate them through proofs of concept. Each case is assessed for profitability and feasibility.

  • Business process mapping to identify optimization opportunities
  • Proof of Concept (PoC) design to validate use cases
  • Profitability and impact studies for each selected use case
  • Alignment of use cases with the organisation's strategic objectives

Deliverable: a prioritized portfolio of use cases.

Benchmark: technologies, tools, partners

We select the technologies, tools and partners suited to your chosen use cases, according to your security and compliance criteria. A vendor-independent approach.

  • Choice of relevant solutions and technologies for the selected use cases
  • Choice of deployment models, based on security and compliance criteria

Deliverable: documented technology recommendations.

AI governance and risk management consulting

We lay the foundations for a controlled use of AI: data governance, risk management, nFADP compliance and ethical principles. Your teams are trained and equipped, down to usage guidelines for AI tools.

  • Implementing data and AI governance
  • Managing data privacy and security risks
  • Compliance with regulations and standards (nFADP, GDPR)
  • Drawing up ethical principles for AI
  • Training teams on AI risks and governance
  • Drafting rules for the use of AI tools

Deliverable: an AI governance framework.

Journey to AI

How an AI audit unfolds

Our audit, Journey to AI, takes place in five stages over four to six weeks. It involves your teams for about half a day per participant and relies on targeted interviews rather than long questionnaires. At the end, you receive three deliverables: a complete audit report, a matrix of prioritized opportunities and an executive presentation for your management.

01

Kickoff

Launch of the engagement, scoping of the perimeter and roles, first review of your current AI usage.

02

AI training (optional)

A session to give your teams a shared foundation before the interviews.

03

Audit

Document review and eight interviews with management and key functions (HR, sales, finance, IT, security).

04

Assessment

Maturity measurement, prioritization of use cases and a deep dive into one major use case.

05

Final presentation

Presentation of the roadmap and recommendations, followed by a discussion of the next steps.

Who it is for

For which companies

The audit is designed for SMEs and organisations in French-speaking Switzerland that sense the potential of AI without knowing where to start, that have run isolated pilots without managing to scale them, or that need to arbitrate between several projects and convince their management. It is particularly relevant in sectors with strong regulatory requirements (healthcare, finance, public sector), where security, compliance and data sovereignty are decisive.

Signals that an audit would be useful
  • Deployment of Microsoft Copilot or AI tools that needs framing and securing
  • Shadow AI: employees already use AI, without a framework or governance
  • nFADP compliance and management of data-related risks
  • AI ideas multiplying without prioritization or a roadmap
The audit prepares your projects

The audit directly prepares your projects: upskill your teams and secure a controlled deployment of your AI tools.

Frequently asked questions

Your questions about AI audits

What is an AI audit?
An AI audit is a structured diagnosis of an organisation's maturity, data, processes and risks with regard to artificial intelligence. It results in a prioritized roadmap that shows where and how to deploy AI to create value, taking into account your security and compliance constraints.
How long does an AI audit take?
PrismIA's Journey to AI audit generally takes four to six weeks, depending on the scope and the number of functions to interview. It relies on around eight interviews and requires the equivalent of half a day per participant, meetings and final presentation included.
AI audit and nFADP compliance: is it covered?
Yes. Compliance (nFADP, GDPR, AI Act) and risk management are built into every recommendation: data governance, security, ethical principles and usage guidelines. The audit identifies the risks and proposes a remediation plan; dedicated support can then help you structure your governance.
What does the final deliverable contain?
You receive three deliverables: a complete audit report, a matrix of prioritized opportunities (impact, feasibility, return on investment) and an executive presentation for your management. The roadmap details the selected use cases and the order of deployment.
What happens after the audit?
The audit results in an actionable roadmap. PrismIA can then support you with the integration of the selected solutions, team training and the implementation of AI governance. Each step remains optional: you stay in control of the pace.
Is the audit suitable for SMEs?
Yes. The approach is calibrated for SMEs and organisations in French-speaking Switzerland: it favours realistic use cases, progressive investment and measurable impact, rather than oversized AI projects. The goal is AI that is useful, controlled and compliant.
