Where should an SME in French-speaking Switzerland start with AI?

Can our data stay in Switzerland?

Yes. Depending on your requirements, we favour configurations that comply with the nFADP: tools hosted in Switzerland or Europe, enterprise plans that never reuse your data to train models, or even locally-run models for the most sensitive cases.

ChatGPT, Copilot or Claude with client data: is that reasonable?

With the consumer versions, no. With properly configured enterprise plans, a clear usage policy and data anonymisation where needed, yes. We train your teams in precisely these reflexes.

What should we anticipate on the regulatory side: nFADP, GDPR, AI Act?

The nFADP has applied to every Swiss company since September 2023. The GDPR comes on top as soon as you process data of people located in the EU, and the European AI Act progressively affects Swiss companies serving the European market.
